Make your own Figgy Pudding hand sewing kit

I've been making my Figgy Puds for twelve Christmasses now, and this year I've put together a kit for you to make your very own! You can create a tree decoration with a tiny red bell to finish it with.

These kits have been designed to be simple and fun to make, for any ability. A basic knowledge of hand sewing is helpful (you'll need to do some small, neat running stitches and back stitch) but there are no tricky embroidery stitches to learn - just simple applique.

Included in the kit will be: 

• A full instruction booklet giving you step by step details of how to make your Pud

• Two pieces of good quality wool felt to construct the Pud on, one interfaced to stiffen your finished decoration

• Your Pud components, pre-cut from good quality fabrics, and backed with a heat fix material so you can iron them carefully in position before you stitch

• A length of each colour Gutermann sew-all thread you'll need, on a reusable thread spool

• A length of waxed hanging cord
• A red jingly bell to use as a berry (your instruction leaflet will refer to their being a choice of either a metal bell or three little iron-on berries, but as these are the last of the kits they all have bells).

You will need a few simple things: 

• A fine needle, ideally a size 11 sharps (please ask if you don't have one, I'm happy to include one for you!)
  

• Pins or binding clips

• An iron (with the steam off)... or even hair straighteners if you don't have one! 

• Tweezers can be handy, but are by no means essential

• Scissors to cut around your finished Pud

• A dab of fabric glue or PVA is helpful, if you have it
