Framed Stitched Mussel Heart

Number one of a small limited run of stitched Mussel Hearts for 2022. Featuring a hand cut mussel shell, small fragments of liberty fabric, and silk freemotion embroidery in a selection of beautiful seaside shades. Finished with an iridescent thread, and mounted on reinforced wool felt.

Presented in a white box frame measuring 12 x 12cm (inner mount 6 x 6cm). The frame comes with an acrylic front panel, which I have not placed over the work, but will be included for you to use if you would prefer to protect it.
