Christmas Croissant Bookband

This one might be a bit niche, even for me... but Croissants on Christmas morning are a staple in our house.

My parents spent a lot of time in France when they were young - My Dad raced Karts and they used to head over most weekends back in the 70's to race - their wedding was even timed to coincide with a Karting trip to Paris that they could call a Honeymoon! So long before you could buy a really decent croissant on every corner in the UK, we would bring them home from France on day trips and stash them away in the freezer for Christmas morning. I remember how much of a treat they were back then, and a great croissant still makes me feel nostalgic. 45 years on from those Karting trips, we still always have great Croissants ready with a glass of Bucks Fizz on Christmas morning, and I will never NOT stick to this tradition! 

So, although a sparkly Croissant is definitely not just for Christmas, for me they ARE Christmas morning.
